1 of 4 People in The World is Muslim

The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life in its report recently held data on the number of Muslims the world jumped nearly 100 percent in recent years. "On average in each country increased from the original 1 million to 1.8 million adherents," wrote the latest report on research carried out for three years.

Exact numbers, according to the report, the number of adherents of Islam in the world today reached 1.57 billion people. "Now, nearly one in four people in the world practice the teachings of Islam," the report titled "Mapping the Global Muslim Population."
